COUNTRY
2 STEP & WEST COAST SWING is derived from the original swing Lindy Hop (or Jitterbug) of original dancers from the 30's/40's such as "old timer" Dean Collins "Hollywood or Smooth Style" way of dancing swing. But, has developed on its own as a bluesy fun dance that is now the California State Dance! It can be danced to Country Swing, 70's Disco, 80's love ballads, or most anything on the radio today including Top 40!
