Volunteers get FREE PARTY or ROUTINE or future CLASSES; OR perhaps you want a PRIVATE lesson or DJ or teacher at YOUR PARTY instead!

  • If you can't volunteer perhaps you can make a donation
  • If you can volunteer... Help us move our very light dance floors (about 15 to 30-60 minutes of fun):

    Sunday, June 27 8 or 9am morning may load rest of floor @ studio


    Sunday, June 27
    9 or 10am assemble floor @ Pride location tba
    6 or 7pm break down floor, load floor in vehicle, transport and unload floor @ studio.

    volunteer @ Fillmore Jazz Fest:


    Friday, July 2
    may load some of floor @ studio and if available will assemble early
    @ Fillmore/Geary


    Saturday, July 3
    8 or 9am morning may load rest of floor @ studio and assemble at site.


    Sunday, July 4
    6 or 7pm break down floor, load floor in vehicle, transport and unload floor @ studio.

Help out at the monthly party:
  • Help out at the door and get in free to the Dance Party! (sign in folks greeting and getting email addresses)

Help out at the Camp or Festival:
  • Postering neighborhoods (before the Festival)
  • Registration prep (before the Festival)
  • Ballroom decoration setup (afternoons at Festival before 6pm)
  • Registration desk
  • Contest signups
  • Door monitors/greeters
  • Dance hosts (to ask newcomers to dance)
  • Floaters (for odd jobs)

Make our mission yours:
  • Provide Gay, Bi, Lesbian & Trans communities with dance history & education & educate the general public about same sex partner dancing!
  • Provide discounted dance to youth communities and/or people with AIDS & provide a discount for special events!
  • Provide monthly dances.
  • Provide weekly classes & maintain a dance studio.
  • Provide a dance camp free of Heterosexism and Homophobia!


    It's hard work but someone's got to do it!

Classes at Queer Ballroom inside Live Art Gallery, 151 Potrero Ave. near 15th Street.

Parties only at Magnet at 4122 18th Street at Castro.
